Surrendering your Pom

If you are needing to surrender your Pomeranian, we are here to help you. We have a dedicated email address for emergencies such as these (click here). We understand how difficult this is and treat each situation with the utmost respect.  Once we receive your email, we will try to contact you as soon as possible. If we can accommodate you, we will have you sign a surrender form and take ownership of your pet. Your pet, depending on the situation, will either go directly to one of our vets or an approved foster home where they will receive any care they need. Once your pet is ready for their new home, we will try to locate an adopter.

Each adopter fills out an adoption application, once that has been processed, we conduct a meet n greet and home visit. If all goes well, we will leave your pet with the prospective adopter for one to two weeks as a trial adoption. If that goes well, we will mark the adoption final! Once the adoption is final, we have the new pawrents sign a contract that stipulates that your pet must come back to us if they are unable to stay in the home. We also micro-chip your pet and keep our name listed so your pet never will never be lost in the shelter system, they will always come back to us if needed.

If you surrender you Pet, it is always confidential! We take surrenders from vets, shelters, other rescues, owners, and breeders.
