May God Bless SCPR for all that they do to save Poms and for helping me to get my Bella out of a kill shelter. She is a beautiful precious gem and we will never forget the help we received for saving her!

My rescue Pom, 10.5 yrs, Pirate, approx 8lbs, escaped from my Mom's house in San Diego, luckily a good Samaritan picked up Pirate and took him to their vet. The vet located in San Marcos contacted Escondido Humane Society...I posted an added on Petfinders & craigslist...on the same day January 2, 2012 - I received a call from EHS about 11pm that evening telling me that Pirate was safe-and I could pick him up the next day...I had to show vet records and other paperwork. It never happened though...his microchip still had the The Kris Kelly Foundation on it and EHS said they wanted a release from TKKF before releasing to me. I never got a phone call, email or any type of response from TKKF. My family is heartbroken - EHS said once out of their hands it's a "civil" matter - also, EHS wouldn't accept the AVID transfer certificate that was filled out back in 2007 when I rescued Pirate from TKKF. UGH. Any suggestions? Thanks you, Felicia
